When you choose FinalCut Pro as an output, your recordings will be exported to a XLM-file.

XML-files is an extensible markup language file, and it is used to structure data for storage and transport. In an XML file, there are both tags and text.

Import a XML-file to Final Cut Pro

When you import an XML file to Final Cut pro, the program generates clips, events, projects, and a library, depending on the contents of the XML-file.

  1. In Final Cut Pro, choose File → Import → XML.
  2. Navigate to the downloaded NoEdit XML file you want to import, then click Import.
  3. Final Cut Pro processes the XML and generates the corresponding clips, events, projects, and library, depending on the contents of the XML file.

You can also import XML files by double-clicking them in the Finder or dragging them to the Final Cut Pro app icon.
